340 Express

Postby ken » Tue Feb 24, 2015 12:31 pm

I have been searching for a used 340 Express. I have noticed that the dry weight listed for a 2004/05 340 Express is 13,300 lbs and the dry weight listed for a 2006/07 340 Express is 15,500 lbs. Does anyone know why there is a 2,200 lb difference between model years?

Hi Ken - Gotta be a typo.

I had a 2002 and all the "glossies" through 2005 ... then a gap until 2008 when the 360 came out. I don't believe there were any changes to that hull, and certainly nothing that would add 2200lbs. I believe this question was asked back in the day, and John Ferfecki said it was a typo. Perhaps he'll chime in here.

All that aside, we LOVED of 3470. I still miss it. Mine had outdrives though and we moved to the ocean from a lake. Even though I was addicted to the 50mph top end and the ENDLESS ROOM, the battery acid in the Gulf Of Mexico would have eaten the drives off... so we moved up. Still a fantastic boat!! I'm in touch with the folks who bought mine, and she's still running strong with no major issues. I can't speak highly enough of that boat!!

Im looking at a 92 3388 and know nothing about these boats. Can anyone point me int the right direction for research? It has twin Volvo diesels with direct drives. Are these solid boats? any information would help. :)

Hi Everyone,

We just purchased a 3370 Esprit and would like to trailer it? Can anyone tell me the name of a trailer mfg for Cruisers?
